Fast Terminal in Colombia becomes Horizon Auto Logistics

As of October 1, 2023, Fast Terminal in Colombia will operate and do business as Horizon Auto Logistics.

The rebranding has been in the works since the beginning of the year and will mean that Fast Terminal Envigado, Fast Terminal Caldas, Fast Terminal Bogotá and Fast Terminal Santa Marta will operate and do business as Horizon Auto Logistics (Envigado), Horizon Auto Logistics (Caldas), Horizon Auto Logistics (Bogotá) and Horizon Auto Logistics (Santa Marta) respectively.

Per Folkesson, CEO of Horizon Auto Logistics, says: “As a group, we have decided to operate as Horizon Auto Logistics as broadly as possible. It makes sense to unify our operating name as far as possible and Horizon is currently more widely recognized as a global automotive logistics provider compared to the Fast Terminal name. Of course, Fast Terminal has built an incredible legacy in the Colombian market over the past 10 years, being the first real automotive logistics company to provide comprehensive automotive terminal, VPC and logistics services. “We are very proud of that, but Horizon has also built a legacy of bringing a new level of service and responsibility to the industry, and this is the brand we are now expanding under into new markets such as Africa, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, Europe and South America.”

The majority of the rebranding has already taken place, with some of the last sites being renewed until the end of the year. The rebranding coincides with the company’s 10th anniversary this year, providing an excellent opportunity to further celebrate the occasion.

Stefany Arbelaez, Vice President and Head of Colombia, says: “As a group, over the past few years we have worked on many alignments between our companies in the various markets, facilitating a uniform approach to our total business. Operating as Horizon across borders is part of this alignment; Of course, we are very proud of what Fast Terminal has achieved over the years, but we are equally proud to be able to operate as Horizon in the future. Our customers will continue to count on our full commitment to move their businesses forward.”

Horizon Auto Logistics operates in 8 markets globally, employs 650 people and handles around 450,000 vehicles and 2,000 pieces of equipment annually. It provides complete supply chain services for finished vehicles, including vessel cargo handling, port operations, yard operations and distribution centres, VPC and EPC (technical) services, in-house transport, distribution management and plant logistics.
