The global automotive terminals and logistics provider have entered the Indian market effective March 2023 and will operate as Horizon Auto Logistics Private Limited. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Horizon Global Holdings.
India have rapidly grown as one of the largest automotive manufacturing hubs globally and is today the fourth largest by production. It builds vehicles both for domestic and export sales. Most of the larger international auto manufacturers are present in India with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
The Indian operations will be headquartered in Mumbai. Capt. Anil Saini joined the company on March 1st, 2023, as Owner’s representative and VP of India and the IMEA (India, Middle East & Africa) region. Anil has a long history within Ro-Ro shipping and landside logistics and has been associated with the company in the past.

The company will initially focus on establishing their operating model from manufacturing through to seaports, and from seaports to dealer networks and end-buyers. Particularly the Control Tower concept which will greatly enhance customers’ ability to manage their supply chains in a cost-efficient manner, optimizing output and facilitating decision making to avoid disruptions.
Horizon Auto Logistics operates in 8 markets globally, employing 650 people and handles about 450,000 vehicles and 2,000 equipment’s annually. It provides complete supply chain services for finished vehicles, which includes vessel cargo-handling, port operations, yard operations and distribution centers, VPC and EPC (technical) services, inland transportation, distribution management and plant logistics.
