In July it will be 1 year since we launched the #DriveForLife campaign. It’s been a continuous effort bringing awareness to the dangers of distracted driving and has involved daily information being given to vehicles entering and exiting our facilities, training provided at our facilities both for internal and external attendees, regular interaction with local communities on distracted driving and especially educating our youth.
In June we arranged and hosted a kids arts exhibition #ArtsForLife to mark 1 year of our #DriveForLife campaign throughout our operating markets. We provided an introduction and elementary training to safe driving to the children and their families participating. Lot’s of enthusiasm amongst the young ones, and some great artistic impressions about safe driving.
Between our operating facilities in all markets, we have reached about 1,350 people sitting behind the wheel either privately or professionally, with information on distracted driving and further training.
We are now planning phase 2 of the campaign, which will bring the message to a much broader audience.
