Position Overview The HR & Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting payroll processing, employee data management, and timekeeping accuracy. This role works closely with HR, Operations, and Finance to ensure employees are paid accurately and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage payroll processes in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities • Support weekly payroll processing in accordance with company policies and schedules. • Review and validate employee time records, overtime, and payroll adjustments. • Coordinate with HR and Operations to resolve missing punches and time discrepancies in WFM systems. • Ensure payroll data is accurately processed within the ERP system (e.g., NetSuite / Dayforce). • Maintain payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes. • Support off-cycle payments, corrections, and employee payroll inquiries. • Assist with payroll setup for new hires, terminations, and employee updates. • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS/ERP systems. • Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll and employee data. • Assist with employee status changes, promotions, and compensation updates. • Partner with HR and Operations to ensure data accuracy impacting payroll. • Ensure payroll processes comply with internal policies and local labor regulations. • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information. • Support payroll audits (internal and external). • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and data accuracy. Qualifications • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred. • 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing or HR/payroll support. • Experience in high-volume or operational environments preferred. • Knowledge of payroll regulations and timekeeping practices. • Strong experience with ERP/HRIS systems (NetSuite, Dayforce preferred). • Strong excel skills and data management capability. performance objectives.
