Position Overview: The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for a U.S.-based facility, serving as a trusted advisor to both management and employees. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the HR function on-site, acting as a strategic business partner to Operations and management. • Oversee recruitment and onboarding, ensuring effective workforce planning, talent acquisition, and seamless integration of new hires. • Manage time and attendance systems, ensuring accurate recording of hours worked, overtime, and absences. • Administer workforce scheduling and shift programs, optimizing efficiency, coverage, and compliance with labor laws. • Coordinate compensation, benefits, and payroll processes while maintaining internal equity and regulatory compliance. • Manage performance evaluation and employee development programs to foster retention and growth. • Ensure adherence to all employment laws, health and safety standards, and company policies. • Maintain accurate employee data and reporting within the HRIS system (NetSuite SuitePeople preferred or similar). • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and fairness. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, IT, and Legal to align HR processes and compliance standards with business needs. • Participate in site leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning, workforce forecasting, and organizational design. • Support audits and compliance reviews, ensuring readiness and adherence to corporate and legal standards. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role. • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, compliance, and HR best practices. • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (NetSuite SuitePeople preferred). • Proven success managing the full spectrum of HR operations in a complex or industrial setting. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR) preferred. • Strategic, analytical mindset with sound judgment and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity and discretion.
