Position Summary The Human Resources Analyst supports the HR function by managing HR data, generating analytics, coordinating HR processes, and ensuring accurate execution of core HR activities. This role plays a critical part in recruitment support, onboarding, HRIS administration, payroll coordination, compliance documentation, employee relations case tracking, and maintaining accurate workforce records. The Analyst ensures that HR operations run smoothly and in alignment with corporate policies, local labour regulations, and Horizon Auto Logistics standards. This position partners closely with the HR Manager, operations, and employees to drive data accuracy, reporting excellence, and efficient HR service delivery. Core duties and strategic responsibilities HR Data Management & HRIS Administration (Primary Focus): • Maintain employee records in HRIS (NetSuite SuitePeople preferred), ensuring data accuracy and timely updates. • Generate scheduled and ad-hoc HR reports for workforce planning, turnover, attendance, and compliance. • Support audits by preparing documentation, reports, and system extracts. Outcomes: Accurate HR data, reliable reporting, and audit readiness. Recruitment & Onboarding Support • Post job openings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage applicant tracking. • Conduct reference checks and prepare pre-employment documentation. • Facilitate onboarding logistics: badge requests, systems, new-hire packets, I-9/E-Verify. Outcomes: Faster hiring process and smooth new-hire experience. Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll Coordination Collect and validate timekeeping data, PTO records, shift schedules, and overtime inputs. • Support payroll accuracy by reconciling hours, reviewing discrepancies, and partnering with HR Manager and Finance. • Assist employees with benefits enrollment questions and vendor documentation. Outcomes: Timely, accurate payroll inputs and improved employee experience. Employee Relations & HR Support • Track employee relations cases, documentation timelines, corrective actions, and follow-ups. • Help prepare communication materials, HR notices, and policy updates. • Serve as an employee point of contact for routine HR questions. Outcomes: Organized ER documentation and consistent HR service. Compliance & Policy Coordination • Maintain employee files, training records, mandatory postings, and compliance checklists. • Support safety, HR, and corporate audits with required evidence. • Help maintain alignment with federal/state labor laws and internal HR policies. Outcomes: Zero compliance gaps and timely reporting. Training and Engagement Support • Support organization of training activities and track completions. • Assist in employee engagement initiatives (events, surveys, communications). Outcomes: Increased participation and better engagement documentation. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with Operations, IT, Finance, and the HR Manager to ensure accurate HR processes. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR efficiency. Outcomes: Seamless integration between HR and site operations. Education and Work Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will be fully considered. • 2–4 years of hands-on HR experience in operations, HR analytics, HR coordination, or similar roles. • Experience in industrial, logistics, manufacturing, or multinational environments is a plus. • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is beneficial but not mandatory. • Experience with HRIS platforms—NetSuite SuitePeople preferred, but similar systems are acceptable.

This role assists with daily HR operations, employee onboarding, document preparation, timekeeping coordination, benefits support and maintaining accurate employee records. The HR Assistant ensures smooth communication between HR and employees and helps keep HR processes running efficiently and in compliance with company policies and local regulations. Core duties and strategic responsibilities HR Administrative Support: • Maintain employee files, documents, and records with accuracy and confidentiality. • Prepare HR forms, new-hire packets, letters, and routine communications. • Support the HR Manager with scheduling, documentation, and follow-ups. Outcomes: Improved efficiency for the HR Manager through reliable administrative support. Recruitment & Onboarding Support • Post jobs, collect applications, and coordinate candidate interviews. • Assist with pre-employment requirements (references, background checks, drug screens). • Help facilitate new-hire orientation, badge requests, uniforms, and onboarding materials. Compliance & Recordkeeping • Maintain compliance checklists, required postings, and training records. • Assist with HR and safety audits by gathering documentation. Outcomes: Updated records and audit readiness. Education and Work Experience • High school diploma required; associate degree or equivalent HR coursework preferred but not required. • 1–2 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles preferred. • Experience in industrial, logistics, manufacturing, or similar environments is a plus. • Familiarity with HRIS systems (NetSuite SuitePeople or similar) is beneficial but not required.
